If you are considering bankruptcy but have yet to file a case with the court and cannot afford the services of an attorney, you may contact the below resources for more information:

The Volunteer Legal Services Corporation (VLSC)  provides a range of bankruptcy services to clients, including legal education, assistance in completing forms to file for bankruptcy and assistance after a bankruptcy is filed. Clients must call VLSC intake to make an appointment.
