To obtain a limited access login and password to CM/ECF, an individual must complete the Limited Access Filing Registration Form and submit six Notice of Electronic Filings (NEF's), from the past six months, demonstrating successful electronic document filings with a CM/ECF bankruptcy court in another district. The form also certifies that you have read the court's Electronic Case Filing Procedures and Chamber Copy Requirements and Division Procedures. If you have not filed electronically in another CM/ECF bankruptcy court, you may request a login to our training database and complete a brief prerequisite assignment. Complete the registration form and state in the body of the e-mail that you are requesting a training login. You may review the docketing procedures for the events above by downloading our Limited Access User's Manual. Upon successful completion of the prerequisite assignment, a login to the live database will be issued. All documentation must be submitted as a PDF. The court will not accept paper copies of the above documents. Please e-mail all documentation to: helpdesk@canb.uscourts.gov. Please allow one to two weeks for the court to process your request. If you have any questions, please contact the help desk at 415.268.2350 or send an e-mail to helpdesk@canb.uscourts.gov.
