Will the Bankruptcy Court provide and pay for an interpreter for me?
To obtain a court interpreter, please refer to Title 28, 11 U.S.C. §1827 (Interpreters in Courts of the United States) and Title 28, U.S.C. §1828 (Special Interpretation Services).
Does the Bankruptcy Court provide any services for those who are hearing impaired?
For those with hearing disabilities, all courtrooms are equipped with an infrared assisted listening device. If you need to use the assisted listening device, please notify the courtroom deputy prior to the hearing. A 24 hour notification is requested.
