Does the Bankruptcy Court provide any services for those who are hearing impaired?

For those with hearing disabilities, all courtrooms are equipped with an infrared assisted listening device. If you need to use the assisted listening device, please notify the courtroom deputy prior to the hearing. A 24 hour notification is requested.

ASL (american sign language) interpreters may be provided, at Court expense, to a party, attorney, and witness or other participant in a judicial proceeding, whether or not the proceeding is initiated by the United States. Participants in need of an ASL interpreter must complete a request two weeks prior to the bankruptcy court hearing. For further information, contact the division in which the case is being heard.
