Attorney Training Waiver Information


Attorney Training Waiver Form

Pursuant to the court's Electronic Case Filing Procedures [1] attorneys may request a waiver to court-sponsored CM/ECF training by submitting the following documents:

  1. A letter of acknowledgment written by the attorney affirming that the attorney is a member of the bar and in good standing with the United States District Court for Northern District of California [2], has read the court's Electronic Case Filing Procedures [1] and Chamber Copy Requirements and Division Procedures for ECF [3] and, in the past six months, has successfully filed electronic documents with a bankruptcy court in another district.
  2. Six Notices of Electronic Filing [4] which were successfully filed with a CM/ECF bankruptcy court in another district; and
  3. The Registration form [5].
All documents must be submitted as a PDF. The court will not accept hard copies of the above documents. Please e-mail all documentation to: ecf_training@canb.uscourts.gov [6] .
