Change Attorney Address in CM/ECF
 
To change an address on a CM/ECF account an attorney must:
 
Compliance with BLR 2002-2 includes and requires filing and serving a Notice of Change of Address in all open bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings in which the attorney appears.  A Notice of Change of Address should not be filed in a closed case or adversary proceeding, or in a case or proceeding in which the requesting attorney’s status is shown in CM/ECF as terminated. 
 
Filing a certificate of service for a Notice of Change of Address is not required, instead submitting a completed Request to Change Attorney Address in CM/ECF form to the Helpdesk along with a list showing the name and number of each bankruptcy case and adversary proceeding in which a Notice of Change of Address is filed and served, certifies a requesting attorney’s compliance with BLR 2002-2, including all applicable filing and service requirements.  Example:
 

Information on how to print or save a list of open cases in which an attorney appears, and how to file a Notice of Change of Address is provided below.
 
A requested CM/ECF address change will not be made absent compliance with BLR 2002-2, or if a Request to Change Attorney Address in CM/ECF form is not submitted to the Helpdesk, or is submitted but is incomplete.
 
Print or Save a List of Open Cases
In CM/ECF click Query.  Enter the attorney’s first and last name (middle name or initial, if necessary).  From the “Type” menu select “Attorney.”  Check the “Open cases” box.  Click “Run Query.”
 

  Print or save the resulting list using your browser commands.

Filing a Notice of Change of Address
Complete and save as a PDF a Notice of Change of Address form.   In CM/ECF click the Bankruptcy or Adversary events menu (as applicable).  Click the “Notices” link.  Enter the case or proceeding number.  Click Next.  From “Available Events” select the event “Notice of Change of Address.”  Click Next.  Follow the remaining prompts to upload the saved Notice of Change of Address form.
 

 
Filing a Notice of Change of Address in
Multiple Bankruptcy Cases and Adversary Proceedings
Complete and save as a PDF a Notice of Change of Address (Multi) form with an attached list showing the name and number of each bankruptcy case and adversary proceeding in which a Notice of Change of Address is to be filed and served.
 
In CM/ECF click the Bankruptcy events menu.  Click the “Multi-Case Docketing” link.  On the “Multi Case Docketing” screen, in the “Case Number or Numbers” fields enter the bankruptcy case or adversary proceeding number for each case and proceeding in which a Notice of Change of Address is to be filed.  One case or adversary proceeding number per field.  Click Next.
 
From “Available Events” select the event “Notice of Change of Address (Multi).”  Click Next.  Follow the remaining prompts to upload the saved Notice of Change of Address (Multi) form.
