San Francisco Digital Audio Announcement (Effective 6/27/2011)

SAN FRANCISCO DIGITAL AUDIO ANNOUNCEMENT

Effective June 27, 2011, the San Francisco Division will create digital audio recordings of certain court proceedings and make those recordings available to the public through the Case Management Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) System. Unless otherwise ordered, recordings of the following types of hearings will be available: Law and Motion Hearings; Chapter 11 Status Conference and Chapter 11 Disclosure Statement Hearings; Formal Pretrial Conferences; Discovery Hearings and Conferences; or any other hearing the judge presiding may specify. Prior to the commencement of any other type of hearing, any party may ask the judge presiding to order that a recording of the hearing be made available via CM/ECF.
