CM/ECF Unavailable on Tuesday February 18 From 7:00 PM to 11:59 PM

Effective Wednesday, February 19, our court will migrate CM/ECF to version 5.2.3.  To help prepare for this transition, our CM/ECF Live environment will be temporarily unavailable beginning on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 7:00 PM to Tuesday, February, 18, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

Federal Holiday - Presidents' Day

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Monday, February 17th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

REVISED: Interim District Procedure for Motions to Redact

Effective December 1, 2019, the Interim District Procedure for Motions to Redact is revised in accordance with Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9037(h), and retitled as the District Procedure for Motion to Redact Previously Filed Document.

Amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, effective December 1, 2019

Amendments to Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure 4001, 6007, 9036 and 9037. Clean and redline versions of these Rule changes are available on the U.S. Courts website.

Federal Holiday - New Year's Day

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st, in observance of New Year's Day.

Federal Holiday - Christmas Day

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas Day.

Memorial Service for Retired Chief Judge Lloyd King

Hon. Lloyd King, former Chief Judge of the Northern District of California Bankruptcy Court, passed away on October 17, 2019. The court will hold a memorial to honor and remember him on December 9, 2019, at 4:00 PM in the Ceremonial Courtroom, 19th Floor, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco. Members of the bar and the general public are welcome to attend. Visitors will need government issued identification to pass through security upon arrival.
