CM/ECF Users: New NEF Definitions and Changes to Docket Events and Processes
New events, event modifications, and event deactivations that affect all chapters as well as new NEF definitions that take effect in June and July 2017 are posted under the New in ECF page. Please note in particular that the court will reinstate the prior practice of noticing the Debtor’s Certification in Support of Discharge and Debtor’s Statement re Pending Proceedings through BNC in chapter 13 cases.
Northern District Chapter 13 Model Plan
The Chapter 13 Model Plan (dated August 1, 2013), is currently being used in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose. EFFECTIVE July 1, 2017, the use of the model plan will be required in ALL divisions of the Northern District.
