Effective January 1, 2023, the Northern District of California
adopted a new Chapter 13 Plan


Federal Holiday - December 24 and 25, 2018

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25. Parties may still file documents electronically, as all electronic services including CM/ECF, ePOC, PACER, and VCIS are available.

NEW Release of the ChapMobile App

The Court is pleased to announce the release of a new application, ChapMobile!
ChapMobile is a free application that is available to download at your local app store, and is compatible with any mobile device.

With the ChapMobile App, you have direct access to:

View Judges' and 341 Meetings' calendars
Search hearings by case name or number
View court locations and contact information
Create your own favorite list of attorneys to follow and quickly view upcoming hearings
Navigate to other Bankruptcy Court’s calendars

Federal Holiday - New Years Day

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st, in observance of New Years Day.

Santa Rosa Division CLOSED on January 16, 2019

Due to PG&E electrical work and the GSA closure of the federal building annex, the Santa Rosa Division will be closed on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. If you must file a document please go to either the Oakland office at 1300 Clay Street, 3rd Floor, Oakland, CA 94612 or the San Francisco office at 450 Golden Gate Avenue, 18th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102. Both offices are open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Federal Holiday - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All divisions of the Bankruptcy Court will be closed on Monday, January 21st, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
