The adjustment of the dollar amounts in various sections of title 11, United States Code (the Bankruptcy Code), and in one section of title 28, became effective pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 104 and applies to cases filed on or after April 1, 2025. A chart showing the current and adjusted dollar amounts is below.
Also, seven Official Bankruptcy Forms (106C, 107, 122A-2, 122C-2, 201, 207, and 410) and two Director’s Forms (2000 and 2830) that incorporate the dollar amounts have been posted to uscourts.gov on the Pending or Recent Changes in the Bankruptcy Forms page.
The Court will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in observance of Juneteenth.
The Court will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day
The court will eliminate its Mortgage Modification Mediation Program (MMM Program) on May 16, 2025, due to changes in applicable law. Parties who are participating in the MMM Program as of that day may continue to use the program. After the MMM Program’s discontinuation, the court encourages any party desiring mediation to consider using the court’s low-cost Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Panel.
