New Year's Eve (December 31) Court Closure at 12 Noon, except the Santa Rosa Division
New District Wide Procedures For Electronically Filing Sealed and Redacted Documents
Federal Holiday - Christmas Day and Half Day Christmas Eve
The Bankruptcy Court will be closed for business on Christmas Day, December 25. In addition, by executive order of President Obama declaring the half day closure on Christmas Eve, and with authorization of Chief Judge Efremsky, the court will be closed at 12 (Noon) on December 24, as well. Happy Holidays.
Changes to Judge Blumenstiel's "Salinas Only" relief from stay calendar
Judge Blumenstiel will move the time of her "Salinas Only" relief from stay calendar from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 a.m. Also beginning December 2, 2015, Judge Blumenstiel will convene case management conferences or law & motion hearings in Salinas cases at 11:00 a.m. on the dates set forth in Part D of her Open Calendar Dates, which are available here:

The revised procedures set September 30, 2015 as a deadline for the bar to begin including the appropriate schedule for filing papers as set forth in B.L.R. 9014-1(c)(1) & (2) in all hearing notices, after which time her chambers will begin vacating hearings and ordering corrected notices.

Mortgage Modification Mediation (MMM) Program
Effective August 1, 2015, for those divisions who have adopted use of the Northern District of California Model Chapter 13 Plan dated August 1, 2013, eligible participants may voluntarily make use of the Mortgage Modification Mediation (MMM) Program. Debtor counsel can be compensated $2,500.00 upon completion of the modification process. For more information please review General Order 29, Mortgage Modification Mediation (MMM) Program and the Mortgage Modification Mediation (MMM) Procedures.
